Introducing Finegan's Rainbow

Finegan's Rainbow was founded by us, Jeff and Joan Finegan, in November 2006 to supply English food products in Poitou Charentes in France. We opened the doors of our British grocers shop in Montmorillon, in the Vienne in August 2008 after spending 18 months working the local markets.

We started with the intention of providing a range of 'posh' groceries for the more 'gourmand' customer but soon discovered by popular demand that there was a need for more everyday products.

We now stock a range of lines from Wooden Spoon handmade jams and marmalades and Bay Tree caramelised onions to Heinz baked beans, Roberts Bakery sliced bread to Sunblest crumpets and a wide range of Wrights meat pies and pasties.

To this we have added a fair selection of English cheese, a good variety of English ales, some Sherry, a fine display of hand-painted glass items and mirrors, local artists' work and some books.
